Dr. Fixit 101 LW+ is a liquid waterproofing compound that is mixed with cement or concrete to reduce water absorption, cracks, and seepage. It is commonly used in roof slabs, terraces, bathrooms, water tanks, and masonry work.

Things You’ll Need

  • Dr. Fixit 101 LW+

  • Cement (OPC or PPC)

Step 1: Understand Where to Use Dr. Fixit 101

Dr. Fixit 101 is used in:

It is added to cement or concrete, not applied directly as a paint.

Step 5: Cure the Surface Properly

  • Start curing after 24 hours

  • Cure with water for at least 7 days

  • Proper curing is essential for waterproofing to work effectively

Step 6: Check for Leaks and Cracks

  • After curing, inspect the surface

  • Look for visible cracks, damp patches, or water seepage

  • Repair minor cracks immediately using polymer-modified mortar
